Backstory

Aislynn was born to a very minor noble house in Ishgard, as such she grew up comfortable; their wealth wasn’t obscene, but the girl never went hungry nor without. Against her parents’ wishes, at 13 she joined the Temple Knights as an archer, something she’d found herself incredibly gifted at growing up. Against the winged Dravanian horde, Aislynn would excel in combat, finding herself pushed up to operating dragonkillers in only a few short years. That war ended soon after, however, leaving Aislynn with little in the way of purpose. Her parents, spying an opportunity, arranged her marriage to an older man of a more prestigious house. After giving them some choice remarks involving the spear on the statue of Halone, Aislynn left her home and decided to do what she knew; which lead her to join up with the alliance.As a Freelancer, she fought a little all over the place, from Azys Lla to the battle for both Doma and Ala Mhigo, during which an opportunity arose to spend some time behind enemy lines. There, Aislynn excelled at espionage and infiltration, and racked up quite a few successful assassinations, asset acquisitions, intelligence gathering, sabotage, and even a few defections. She spent months in Garlemald, in the capital in particular, before her cover was blown, forcing her to flee. Now knowing her face, she decided to leave Ilsabard behind and return to Eorzea, where, after a debriefing, she was rotated out on ‘leave’, until the situation on the front had developed, or her skills are needed.The situation in Garlemald never quite developed, and soon enough the call to the enemy's homeland wasn't for battle but aid. Having spent time there, a mixture of guilt and knowing that the Garlean people themselves weren't to blame for the war on the whole, she couldn't deny the need to return and try to render what aid she could. It was there she met a Mercenary that spoke of his work, and when she returned to Eorzea, that was the future she moved to; selling her skills.

Aislynn's services are for hire.Spying: Do you need someone to infiltrate, sabotage or assassinate? She's more than capable, for the right price.Barfly: Aislynn spends a lot of her down-time in various bars in whatever part of the world her latest job has taken her; an easy place to meet.Information Gathering: Aislynn is always watching and listening for anything of note, perhaps she can sell the things she learns, or take a commission to find something out for you.

OOCly you can call me Sarto.I’m from the UK, so I usually keep EU times, but I also work shifts, including nights, so sometimes my timezone is a bit fucky. Because of this, I tend to prefer to RP over Discord, though I’m more than happy to find common times to meet up in-game.I’m over 21 and I’ll only write with people whom are likewise over 21.For RP I have four main rules. No IC/OOC bleed. Communication is King. No God-modding or controlling of one another’s character. Consent is also King (He and Communication are married and rule side by side happily)
I suffer from ADHD, Depression and Anxiety, which makes me feel like reaching out to people is pestering, and I can also be rather forgetful. On the other hand, I adore people reaching out to me and reminding me of things, so please know I’m always open and love to be approached.
